The legal infrastructure of the Payment Services sector is the "Law No. 6493 on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions dated 20.06.2013", which was published in the Official Gazette on 20.06.2013 and entered into force.

The Law introduced a number of regulations requiring payment service activities to be subject to BDDK's permission. The Regulation and Communiqué attached to the Law were published on 27.06.2014, and those engaged in payment service activities until 27.06.2015 are required to obtain an operating licence from BDDK. The Law envisages imprisonment and fines for those operating without an operating licence after this date.

With BDDK's decision dated 03.09.2015, our company was permitted to operate as a Payment Institution. Information for our customers
